Whether beginner or professional: Before you start your first DUPLEX UV manicure, you should definitely read our notes and tips carefully; this will surely save you some application errors; because especially when dealing with light-curing nail polishes and LED lamps, a lot must be considered. But don't worry: after a few applications at the latest, you will have enough practice and every move will be perfect. So take some time, experiment a bit with your new polishes, and look forward to perfect results.
DUPLEX is a completely new BIO nail polish that dries WITH and WITHOUT an LED lamp. It is important that all polish layers are applied thinly and quickly, as DUPLEX, just like regular nail polish, starts drying during application. If a color seems too thick to apply thinly, you can make the consistency more spreadable with DUPLEX nail polish thinner. With correct application, a DUPLEX color polish dried in the LED lamp lasts up to 2-3x longer than conventional nail polish.
Make sure NOT to do your UV manicure under sunlight or outdoors, as daylight/sunlight also contains UV rays and the brushes and polishes will harden immediately and then can no longer be used!
Do not use too much color when painting (wipe the brush well on one side of the bottle neck), as DUPLEX polishes usually cover well in just one coat. If you use too much color, the layer cannot dry through and remains soft or peels off at the edges after a few days.
APPLICATION WITHOUT LED LAMP
Durability like conventional nail polish.
- Base Coat: Let dry for 3 min. in the air
- Color: Let dry for 3 min. in the air
- Top Coat: Let dry for 5-10 min. in the air
APPLICATION WITH LED LAMP
Durability 2-3x longer and immediately dry.
- Base Coat: Dry for 90 sec. in the LED lamp
- Color: Dry for 90 sec. in the LED lamp
- 3. Top Coat: Dry for 2x90 sec. in the LED lamp
